Repair that one little dent yourself

If you have a very small job, the easiest, least expensive option is to simply patch small holes yourself.

1. Thoroughly clean the wall´s surface.
2. Replace loose joint tape or nails with drywall screws if necessary.
3. Apply patching compound with a putty knife so the surface is smooth.
4. Let patching compound dry completely, then apply a second coat over the first patch.
5. When the second coat has thoroughly dried, sand smooth.
6. If the wall is textured, apply texturing to match the rest of the wall´s surface.
7. Prime and paint.
